We are hoping to be able to help many small libraries fulfill their wishlists. Several small libraries across the U.S are struggling to stock new books and technology, and find it hard to continue holding events for their communities.
As a home school mom who utilized the local libraries often, Rebecca finds them quite the blessing. She enjoyed everything from free book checkouts and computer use, to the fun activities they provided, also at no cost to the parents.
Libraries in towns smaller than 10,000 people are in need of help from the public. Many of them have to hold fundraisers to help supplement the costs.
The Write Point would LOVE to contribute to small libraries of America. Three of our campaigns are designed so that a percentage of each will supply wishlist items.
If your local library doesn’t currently have a wishlist showcased on their site, I would recommend letting them know that a link to a page with items they need, or even an Amazon wishlist is a fantastic way to get help.
Our users can also submit their local library as a candidate for donations.
